I used "Great Stuff" spray foam insulation. I don't know about the floatation properties, but it certainly keeps the bottom of the boat quiet. I just sprayed it under the plywood I have in the bottom of the boat. Works great. Guess that's why they call it "Great Stuff".

Contact your local commercial marine supplier and they have a twp part liquid stryofoam, it works great to fill leaky pontoons and ect. But it is somewhat expensive. There is a place in memphis that carries it. It is close to downtown but I forget the name.

A word of caution. If you spray that "great stuff" under a wood floor bottom you will cover up and fill in the channels in the boat bottom that drain the boat. Not good. Before using any type of spray foam/insulation, be sure to cover up the channels so it does not get in them. Of course, this is just my opinion and what I did with mine. Your mileage and boat drainage may vary.

There is a foam factory in Monticello, Ark. It is located between the War Eagle factory and the F&F factory. I don't remember the name, but if you will call F&F, they will give you the name.
