I have had the privilage of hunting with Snapp once or twice and would do so again no problem. In fact he and I will be bunking down the road from one another here in about a week or so up in the wilds of ND and I hope we get to share some field time.

As far as hunting with his opperation: The year I was there the birds were thin, but I have never seen a group og guides and the owner work harder to put us on birds, and so honestly dissapointed when the stars didn't line up for each and every group.

Guided hunts are not my thing, having been a guide at one time myself, but I would not hesitate to reccomend him, as a man, or his services as a guide, to anyone.

KRT,

Never happened is why the guy will not back it up.

****No matter what, it takes more balls to apologise than smear ... apology is openly accepted****

If you're up this way during season, drop by and lunch or a brew is on me!

Glad to be here folks and hope to stay around and enjoy the fun ... I just didn't consider the early statement as fun :-( I'm not usually that harsh and I try to be very open and blunt so don't hesitate posting up and I don't mind the occassionaly shot ... just don't shoot blanks :-)

It is customary for all 'New Guide Members' to take existing members of the forum on a hunt. For review purposes only of course.

When is the MSDucks Hunt at Hammertime's Place????????

Welcome aboard!

And some GPS coords for those 'Public' holes you use to hunt.

Myself and 3 others are coming to Arkansas to hunt this winter to hunt on one of his unguided deals. We were planning on flying out there because we didnt want to pull a four wheeler that far. Any way, Mr. Snapp was well on his way in arranging for us to rent a four wheeler from someone locally until we just decided to drive and bring one. That, in my opinion, is customer service. I dont know if any other guide services would try because I've never used one there. Now remember, we are hunting by ourselves, not with a guide so he wont be making the money he would if we were doing guided hunts but he still tried to provide us with a four wheeler. Thanks Snapp. He also agreed to store our decoys after we shipped them there until we got there. Looking forward to hunting in Arkansas.

Jeff,

Seems like the ducks have been moving in earlier than normal. Quite a few around where there's water.

Welcome to the board Snapp. There are a lot of good guys on here. I posted a couple of weeks ago that I was looking for 1 17" maxxis mudder and a fellow msducker named Bart Reed called me and said he had 2 that he would give me if i wanted them. There aren't many people like that around anymore but I have found that the majority on this board are just like him. Thanks again Bart.
