The balls in your court KRT or anybody else from SC.

The way I see it, Ducks are wild and you don't call it killing you call it hunting.

The way AR duck hunting has been the past five years if a pro is still in business they are pretty good if you ask me. The Stuttgart area has seen leaner and leaner years and Snapp is way north of that. My friends, the rice is all over the northern part of the state and MO now, you couple that with the refuges that have crops and the mid and southern part of Arkansas will not return to what it was. That's why it will cost you an arm an leg to kill ducks in Stuttgart if your not connected.

People want to pay a little money and go with someone that can shoot ducks every day of the season. Those folk's are few and far between. Snapp is as close as it get's for the price and his are on the steep side.

There are several outfits that can produce a limit of wild ducks every day of the season for your party in the great state of Arkansas, but you got to be willing to pay some steep prices cause the way duck hunting has been it takes a lot of land, food, water, and managing the pressure.

You pay $100 bucks to a guide you might get a limit 1 out 3 one day trips. Those guys would charge more if they could always produce, but they can't. Sure they will have some great action on certain days.

I'd expect a limit for a $500 buck shoot and for $250 your odds of limiting might be 50:50.

If you got the money go to Argentina or Canada.

It's kind of odd that everything on this post has shut down since Mr. Sapp put a post up. I too would like to see some proof now. I could have cared less before, but now that he has stood up for himself after everyone else hammerin' on him I think he does deserve some proof. A lot of people read this stuff weather we realize it or not, and to put something up that bad mouths someones way of living on what is second hand information is pretty crappy. Right now only one of them can be telling the truth, lets see some proof on who it is........

His post -- kinda funny... them boys in Arkansas get a little saucey when you talk about 'em... Just remember him getting into it with a couple others at the Refuge, and it got heated. Have no clue what it was about. Didnt really care.... Just fun to watch them duke it out on a computer.

Seems like duck hunting brings that out in allota folk.. Nothin' that a good limit would take care of.

It may be duck hunting to some of you, but it is my life and lively hood ... anyway you look at it. I'm not perfect, but I am darn good at what we do ... I will challenge anyone to post up on what that low life said. How would you like your reputation and lively hood to be challenged???

Now, I do apologise again for such a harsh first post ... but you better figure I'm somewhat of a regular from here on ... I'll take an HONEST challenge anyday ... but a lie is a lie no matter how many times it is repeated!!!!

Someone said something about a time when a field we leased didn't have water ... that's happened twice in 27 seasons, but it was floods or heavy rains that washed out the levies ... that's why our contracts wave mother nature ... she's tough at times. While it has happened twice, I feel like we tired ... tried beign the key word, to work it out with the folks. One from the southeast and one group from TN.

Sure we've had tough hunts ... even terrible, but anyone that tells you different is lying ... these are wild ducks and mother nature. Read our website if you want to see how we work at it.

Yes, we're higher than many, but look at the number of days in a season we pay for ground and rest it so we can do what we can do to insure the quality of hunts.

OK MR. moderator ... if we're getting in to spam, send me a sponsor bill. Your member challenged my lively hood with a bold face lie. All I am doing is defending my reputation and I think this is still America???

Not sure what the initials were of the guy that thoguht he knew so much, but even if he doesn't apologise, at least have enough guts to post his real name, where he works and what he does for a living ... I did!!!

Say, I'm not getting notice of these post. If someone doesn't delete this, e-mail me of new post at snapp1@sbcglobal.net if you don't mind. It may not be much to y'all, but all I have is my reputation ... like it or not :-(

To the post that didn't like HammerTime ... I even understand that myself. HammerTime has always been reserved for when the big groups are right in your face ... but what the editors do is not my call. I'm a duck hunter like you and I do appreciate your candid remarks ... even thoguh I wish you felt different. Thing is ... you were honest and that's all I have ever ask for.

Again, I promise all my post won't be like my first ... I'm a duck hunter and love it like most of you. Just try the shoe on your foot the guy with "ONLY" initials posted up :-( Let's see you loose a weeks pay because he is spreading lies!!!!!!!!

BTW, sorry about spelling but I haven't figured out how to spell check on this site yet and my mind and fingers are working faster than my spelling abilitiy.

I just can't imagine hiding behind some shallow signature of only initials in the first place! If I say it ... I'll put my name on it :-)

I did a search under Snapp on this forum. While I would have liked to have seen more ... if you have doubt search it and wonder why it's no worse than the search shows if the initial man is correct.

Moderator, contact me or whatever ... I would like to be a part of this site. Didn't even know it wat out here, but the folks that expressed honest and candid opinions impressed me.

I leased form charles about 9 yr ago.he was very staight up with me.everthing he said he would do he did.Heck , he even called me the weekend before season and told me that our field was loaded up with birds.he gave me his opinion on how to set some things up[cause i was kinda new to field hunting ] I did the things he suggested and they worked pretty well.before I leased from him I asked around about him, everyone I asked that knew him said he was a strait up guy,but don't f**ck with him.I think that krt or whatever the hell his username was just found that out!!
did we have a good season??it was only about average,on the days the we would see charles ,he would always be honest { i felt} and tell us how he did.I did not lease from him again becasue it was a long ways from home, just had a child born and did not have the money it would cost each season. If I were looking for a guide service to use snap is definetly one I would look at.

charles ,not sure if you remeber me by name ,Mark,we leased a 40 ac rice field from ya . I guess it was about '96 or so.I used to see ya at the shows but haven't seen ya in a while.didn't see ya at the expo in mphs. you didn't miss $#!+.glad to see ya on here charles.
