Has anyone ever hunted with Charles "Hammertime" Snapp? If so, how was the hunting. I have heard mixed reviews.

go to the refuge / arkansas forum and do a search. he posts there quite often, and has gotten into some pretty interesting urinating matches.

i have talked to him several times at one function or another, and he seems like a nice enough guy. just dont know allot about his operation.

have also caught him on the outdoor channel several times

In what way? I've heard that Snapp had leased some ground to OOS that wasn't very good or didn't get water. Tell us what you know KRT.

I saw one of his hunts in the timber last night on Outdoor Channel. They killed da chit out some ducks. Seems like he is a little crazy in da head though.

He's based out of Walnut Ridge, not far from Paragould. Everytime I go out to AR to hunt public, his lodge/hotel looks full. Other than that I have heard everything from not worth a crap, to a great hunt.

I believe they would've limited out quicker if he had stuck that call in his pocket and let the other guy do all the calling.

don if want a first class hunt in arkansas, Black River Mallard Resort is awsome. i have been up there for the past few years with my dads business. The guides, Gale and Franklin are awsome duck hunters, they have a super nice lodge and Bama (the cook) lays out the spread!

Don, I have never met Charles, however I have dealt with him over the net. He donated a duck call to our Delta Waterfowl banquet last year. Seemed like a pretty good fella, if you ask me. Sorry that I don't have any hunt information.

Well guys, I had an e-mail that told me I might find this post interesting. Never been on this board but thought I might need to sign up.

First of all, after 27 years in the business I have made a lot of mistakes, but we do much more right than not and we've usually learned form our mistakes ... which is the good part of making them If anyone wants information on our services, let me know.

As far as the guy that said we took a deposit and were no where around. I openly challenge you to back yourself up on that!! That is no more than a bold face lie and you are full of it for saying it. If you are such a person that would make that post and not have anything to back it up with, you might either want to check out our credit rating or shut up and admit you are nothing but a gossip.

While I guarantee you we have had some bad hunts and when public ground was legal, we did hunt public ground. Never made any bones about that ... I have never NOT been here when some one showed up!!!

Not, get your computer board fired up and let's see the proof. If you can prove I beat someone like you said in the statement you made about a group losing their deposit and reporting me to everyone... I will be glad to get out of the business ... what do you have to offer in return for your shallow, bold face ... sissy lie??? If I'm willing to even consider such an offer, you should put up something of equal value ... such as your lively hood. Are you willing to quit your job and the way you make a living when you can't prove it ... because it never happened. Put up or shut up and lets see a written apology!!!!!!!!!!! I want to know what you're willing to give up if I'm backing up my offer?????

If anyone wants to discuss it, e-mail me or call, but I do know there is no proof because no such thing ever happened.

In fact, I've only even heard of one such story int he state and it was much further south than here so let's see you back it up or apologize ... if you're bold enough to be so honest.

Sorry for such a harsh first post, but cheap punches with no backing really upset me.
