South Dakota duck hunting tips ????

May be going a pheasant trip 1st week of Nov. in Chamberlain SD.

Does anyone know if there is any good duckhunting or guide services in that area??? If so, what about non resident waterfowl liscense...isn't there a drawing or lottery for those???

I went to Chamberlain last year and we had a great trip. I did see a few
birds. Thats just not a great region for ducks...not enough potholes. You may could sneak up on some though.

You are to late for a nonresident waterfowl licsence. You have to put in for a certain area to hunt and get drawn for it.

Lower Brule Indian Res is in that area...they have a descent goose camp...You pay tribal fees and walk right in :wink:

We're going on the 12th of Nov. for pheasant/duck in Mina. By all accounts it's supposed to be awesome! You want to make sure to bring some clothes to keep warm.

You have to be drawn for an out of state liscence. I saw lots of ducks last year around Kimball.
So many ducks, so little time....
