I hate benneli's. Haven't ever seen one not jam or break during a hunt. I like browning's Gold series and berreta's 390-91 series. Both seem to be a lot more reliable than the benneli's. I'm to short for a berreta extreme but they are a sweet shooting gun. they just a little to long and the trigger pull is a bit much IMHO.

Browning Auto 5, Rem 870. Both work good dirty.

I would look into more than just the performance of the shotgun. Beretta ownes Benelli. The customer service at Beretta SUCKS. If I was you out of the three I would go with the Browning.
At least when you call or e-mail them youget to talk to somebody not an automated response that is totally worthless.

I have a buddy that just took his Extrema 2 to Canada and beat the crap out of it. It was about 10 - 15 degrees according to him and he shot all kinds of steel and hevi-shot through it. Never jammed once.
If I get another auto, this will be the gun.
I also have a 686. Very nice gun, balanced perfectly. I hit more with that gun than any other I own.
But, if you want a real duck gun you can drag through the marsh without failure, you gotta have the 11-87 sps mag. I never clean that thing and it keeps on working.
