Crow, why don't I just keep your stuff for awhile. I am sure that as the days grow short again, you may change your mind. If you really are out, why not come over and we will do some serious fishing. I don't say too much, help in the boat, and will clean fish. There are a few fish around and they are easier to find than those wary ducks! Take a deep breath and relax, school will be out before you know it. Jack

I'm finally letting my wife win! I'm gettin' out of this stuff! I'm tired of getting up at 4:00 in the morning and freezing my butt off to, maybe, if I'm lucky, kill one or two ducks! Heck, that would have been a good day these last two years! I can't get my boy to hunt with me anymore, now that he's a college man. I spend all my dang money on stuff that costs too much and then still leaks! All the yahoos that call themselves duck hunters outnumber the real hunters 3-1 these days. Putting up with them is worse than not going, I think. Then, if I do kill a dang duck I have to come home and nobody wants to help clean the things anymore. My wife raises Hell at me because there are feathers all over the yard and the whole place looks like a feather-bed factory gone wrong! I have to listen to my radical, GreenPeace memeber, pro-PETA, anti-gun neighbors start the "How can you shoot those cute little ducks?" crap! I'm done! Ain't worth it. I got a nearly new Beretta 686 Onyx, a nearly new Beretta 390, two Remington 1100's in good condition, and a Browning BPS for sale. I'm also selling a Honda 400 Foreman 4X4 (5 years old). They all go to the highest bidder by the end of the day! They'll be listed in the classified section under "Quitting Sale" along with my name and number where you can reach me all day! Accepting all offers...I will be out of the duck hunting business by the end of the day!

crow, I think we should also post exactly where we hunt, and the number of birds we have seen there.... so everyone will know to stay away from our favorite hole. Or better yet, we can have everyone from the internet community join us for a hunt or two next year so they can tell us a better way to put out our spread, tell us the best call to buy, and make sure we are shooting the right shotgun. Imagine how much we could improve in just a day or two by doing everything THEIR way...

I read your classified Crow; you've got some great prices!

I have a 2.5 year old yellow lab that cost me $1,500, along with $800 in dog training fees. He is the best retrieving dog you have ever seen, but I've got to get rid of him because he farts in the duck blind. I think it is just plain rude, and I can't teach him to stop doing it. Although I hate to do it, I'm going to put him up for sale starting at $250. Crow, do you mind if I post my lab on your classified?
