FLOOD ALERT-LOWER DELTA

Postby walt333ms » Fri Mar 29, 2002 1:41 pm

Steel bayou and Sunflower are at about 86 feet above sea leavel....that puts all of the land south of Newman road under water...
and more water comming...ie all of mahanna is under water and some land north...

as the miss-yazoo rivers go up to 40 feet...it will make steel go to 90....
therefore...time to move some stuff...

the 90 feet DOES NOT include 2-4 inches of water comming in the storm this weekend....

bryants-jolley-whiteline-mims mitchell-atwood-parker-hinds county-boykin-canterbery-collins-joint 10-...will all be under water by sunday night if not already....

going over later this afternoon to move some stuff....

take care

Here come them snakes! Boys watch your buttocks! That high water is going to push them right out into the open. They don't want nothing to do with that current!

Uncle Walt, does that mean that when the water falls our slab crappie honey hole will have been re-stocked and ready to slay em?
