DU great outdoors festival

Is anyone on here going to the DU GOF in Memphis this year? Went last year and had a blast. Planning on going again this year.

bigbear, my son and I always volunteer for the event. it is a first class operation, and allot of fun.

I am going to try to be there, I have made a similiar attempt every year with little success, You see, it started with me getting married on the first annual DUGOF june 1 and then a thing called an anniversary always came up but last year my anniversary present was tickets to it so maybe I will get the same present this year. If I can get one of my buddies to split a motel room with me I will be there. The weekend before I will be done spent all my money at the Coca Cola 600, so I probablly wont be buying much.

Hung up it is the first weekend in June. I wish they would change it or the Morango Mud Ride I hate missing either one of them.

Haven't missed a year yet. I am not too keen on some of the things DU does or doesn't do, but I do enjoy going out there and seeing all the people like Phil Robertson, Roy Rhodes, Mike McLemore..etc. I also like getting a jump on what's gonna be new for the upcoming year so I can start making plans on what I am gonna have to get before December. It is one GIANT candy store for duck hunters.

i have been going for several years now.. about three years ago my wife,, daughter and i got to be on national tv during the event... pretty cool.... you can really get some good deals on sunday eve...

Went last year for the first time. Eddie lee Endom recommended that I go. We had a great time. We went the half day on Friday and that's about all my wife and girls wanted. We will be there this year on Friday and Saturday. [img]images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]

Been there every year. Buy your tickets in advance so you won't have to stand in line Saturday morning.
