It will probably quiet them down for a few days. Not for long though. I hope they get right back after it so I can shoot one of them in the head!!!!!!!!

If he is silly enough to get close enough, I will sure give it a shot. I ususally do a little better hitting turkeys than ducks (you know they are bigger and don't move quite so fast). The rule still applies though ---- If at first you don't hit him- keep squeezing the trigger til the gun stops shooting.

Big Bear gonna leave from ther house Sat. Morning or stay at the camp? If you leave from the house then maybe we can hookup and you can show me how to kill a turkey? Jeff the invite is still on if you want to come up one weekend just call me and bring your big buddy too. I need someone to show me how to turkey hunt! I had a great time last weekend at the hunt test Jeff . Are you going to demopolis in April? I might make it if my honeydoo list isn't too long! Been in DC all week, it will be good to get back home for the weekend.

It's supposed to be 29 degrees here tonight, that's pretty chilly for March 21st if you ask me!!! I don't think it'll mess things up to bad though. Not like it would if it were to stay 29 for 3-4 days.JMHO

Well it is gonna get a little colder than I thought, but I think we'll be okay. I can remember being in Homo Chitto about seven years ago listenging before the season and it was so cold I was standing on a frozen puddle that was frozen solid and I heard seven birds that morning. I think we'll be okay. Louis, anytime you wanna chase them turkeys you let me know. I love doin' that as much as any other hunting, and that's sayin sumthin as I hunted ducks a whole bunch this year. I too had a blast at the hunt test, glad to see you and meet your wife, did she get her title on Sunday? Just lemme know, Jeff

Duck nightmare, As you have heard, one of those poor little turkeys walked a little too close sunday morning. Fried turkey nuggets will be consumed soon.
Big Lou. I am going to try and get up that way this weekend sometime. I am taking off Friday, so maybe I will go then. I would consider going to work late on thursday if the opportunity was there to go hunting. Has anyone killed any turkeys at the camp? I killed my turkey outside of Brandon with my hunting buddy Jim.

I'm from out toward Shiloh. Not trying to find your spot, just trying to see how small this old world is. Really, I was going to tell you a scary critter story to try to scare you off if you are hunting out my way. Just kidding. I'm a turkey hunter so I know better than to ask about specifics. Just wondering if you were in the area

That's cool thrasher. Yes, I do some hunting with a friend out that way. It is private land that he hunts on. I just go with him. I also hunt up in Good Hope, Thomastown and occasionally in Carthage. We are also going to try and hunt in Gloster this year. We found a bunch of turkeys this year down there that don't seem to get much action. If you see a gray toyota pickup flying out near shiloh, watch out cause we will try and pass ya!!!!!!!!!!!

If you see a white chevy HD flag me down. I'll be the one with the cab lights. We'll talk turkey for a while. I live and hunt out that way. If you hunt out that way chances are i know where and may have hunted there or near there before.
