State Game
Maybe somebody could get their heads in the game. Too many mental mistakes. Pegues just made a brilliant fair catch on his own five. Too many false starts. The game is terrible. And to think I thought This was one of States better chances to break that SEC road losing streak.

State's offensive line is gettin' nocked around like rag dolls by Aubie's D line...you can't lose that battle and expect to beat a good team....
State's defense is playing a decent game...DB's have stunk it up though...but the rest of the D seems pretty solid....

First off, Dave Neal was an idiot for saying that was Pegues, which it wasn't. It was Lowe being stupid, should've just let the ball go into the endzone. Pegues avg 30 yds on returns, did his part. State drove the field all day, get to the 20....false start.....holding....intentional grounding........just gave it away.
Auburn didn't pitch a shutout, MSU shut themselves out. No reason for not winning the game.

I felt the same way. B/w the 20's they looked like a football team. Get in the Red Zone they acted like junior high players. That return Pegues had on the first kick off showed what type of speed he has. He looked good. One thing Connor needs to learn is he does not have to throw the ball every time.

Connor was not his self today. he played a heck of alot better last week.
He was playing a much better defense today..... however, there were some mental mistakes that he shouldn't make no matter who he's playing...
Sun rise in the east.... and it sets up in the West, yes the sun rise in east baby, and it sets up in the west..... It's hard to tell, hard to tell, hard to tell, which one, which one I love best.....

....as I posted on the other board........I'm not going to sit here and tell you State is going to win the SEC West (or finish second then claim we won).......but I like what I saw relative to previouse years. The last three years, teams beat us all over the field, we couldn't have won even if we played a perfect game. Not that we would have won against Auburn, but take away the mistakes and we are competitive. Mark my word, Statye will win 6 games and go to a bowl......it's a start.
