I want to thank everyone who attended the DU truck give a way last night. We all had a great time and it was A GREAT SUCCESS. Another plus was anyone who was there will tell you, this was one slick, smooth operation. No problems whatsoever, gave away 63 prizes and a truck and took a whole 60 minutes to do. Congradulations to the winner(s). FYI the truck winner was a young man from Hernando, who split a $100 pkg.of additional chances with a friend. Reckon they have alternate week-ends???
For everybody who didn't come, you missed a good time. Met a lot of Ms.Duck folks.
We will be doing this same thing again, I hope in 6-8 months.

Ya'll did a great job working the event!!!

I think it was rigged, I know it was, because I did not win a single thing. Since I did not win I called my bank and stopped payment on the check I wrote. My bank told me that would not be necessary. They would return it because I didn't have any money in the bank. I told them that was bull, I've got a whole book of checks left.

Had a great time and saw alot of fellows I had not seen in a while. Got to eat some of them Far East groceries with Harley. Got to see Memphis StockBroker win the DU golf club.

Tunica, and Redhead did a great job at the event last night. So did the other 10 committee members.

I'll second all the replies! It was a well organized good time for everyone. Got to put a couple faces with the names on this board, and everybody is just as nice as I thought they would be. Didnt win a #@*% thing but had a good time anyway! [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

I had a great time too. I won ....... strike that last statement. My wife won a double sketch art drawings by Barney Anderson. They are a numbered set. If anyone has any info on Barney Anderson please let me know. This was a well planned event and I will be at the next one as long as I know about it. Thanks for the invite.

Jetduck, good meeting you & the missus. Glad u had a good time. We sure did. About Barney Anderson. Real name is L.M. Anderson. Lives in Mankato, Mn. Does pen & pencil sketches. Damn good ones at that. I only know about 4 he has done for DU. The 2 you have and "Solitude" and my favorite "Take em Dad"
He done a Card package for DU a year or 2 ago that had about 12 different sketches he done on Christmas cards i believe.

JD find last years DU magazines. They done a story on him Apr. may june in that area

It is always good to see you and MRSJETDUCK. I'm glad ya'll won something.
