Chop I was just making a point! It dosen't matter if it's a bear or a damned dodo bird! It was wild and he should have taken another course of action. And hell no I would have not tried to keep the bear. My lab wouldn't like that very much, and could you see my 4'10" wife tryin to bathe that bear. Damnnnnnnnnnnn!

Some of you are unbelievable!

Duck hunters, as a whole, are alot like Ole Miss frat boys. Nobody is better than you, more holy than you, more worth than you, nobody knows AS MUCH as you, and your never wrong about anything!

Give the guy a break! And even if his story is as wrong as it appears between his defenses, stop making yourselvs and this board look pathetic by all the internet tough guy $#!+! Tell him your opinion, maybe even offer your assistance to better the situation, that woulda been the proper thing to do. Do you know what a true patron of the outdoors would have done, "HAD they caught him in a unknowing act?"....DO YOU???? They would have educated him on the situation then done their best to better it...They wouldn't have threatened him...so in my opinion, whatever it's worth, you all look nothing like you just tried look, you look ignorant to reality! Don't act like your gonna hunt him down, or have the wardens hunt him down and feed him the the wolves...nobody is gonna to $#!+ to him, other than run him and possibly others off of what is normally an awesome site for fellow hunters.

If you wanna chastize and be an ass to people, that's fine, go ahead...

But don't do it behind a mask of OUTDOORSMANSHIP! Or whatever, it's terrible and it takes away from this site...

Sorry, if anyones offended, but yall can certainly cuss and rant this dude, I can vent in general about the response! Makes me not want to visit this board, and mostly cause this ain't the only time I've seen it happen.

If you really do want ducks though you can go to the co-op and get them for cheap. You can get mallards or white farm ducks. My family got five a few years back and when they got big enough we put them in the lake behind my house. We still see em' and they have had babies and such. Its been fun watchin them grow.

OK cam lock You win...................NOT! But you are right :x .
The one the actully wins is Amanda. She has called me and we talked for about an hour.We started out yelling and then saw each others side. it was a pleasure to talk with her. We did not have the whole story. Amanda had never seen a wood duck and Ruger is a hunter and enjoys it, but is just learning the sport. The spot the ducks were found was in the city and I as well as others saw the part of his post about getting woodducks for Amandas little girl and were blinded by that.

He had been trying to buy them not catch them. He did call the Gam and Fish people and got no help. It seems all they cared about was catching poachers, not the betterment of the wildlife. That is a travesty. thank god we have SB and Wingman.

After we talked for a while I think both of us came to understand each other better. This is the reason for putting up numbers and not to be bad asses. This is a site where ruger could truly learn and it seems that he really dose love our sport. Did I mention they are from Arkyland. Yall don't start the OOS crap as most of us go there to hunt.

She also told me about the deer. It appears it was wounded and game and fish did not help there either. She took it to the vet had it fixed up and took care of it and released it. They did not relize how coveted the wood duck is and as we talked she began to understand. Now she would truly like to now what to do with them. They are free to come and go as they please and i explaned to her that one of the big things was that if they leave they are somewhat domesticated and would not be afraid to fly into a decoy spread. I think that hit home as she would not want them shot as I wouldn't either.

I think we are both wiser from the experience and I welcome Ruger to the board and dont let that girl get away. Shes a keeper. Can some one post up some pics and demensions of some wood duck boxes for them so they can construct them in hopes to help the ducks. Oh and Ruger did know that wood duck don't quack!

By golly, camlock, you have gone too far, now! Call a man an idiot...I can live with that. Tell him he rode the short bus, cruel, but still in the tolerable level. Insult a man's dog...may get a whuppin', but we can at least tolerate that. Call a fella's wife names...may call for gunfire,b ut southern folks know where they stand.

But, you have sunk to new levels of depravity. An "Ole Miss frat boy!" Have you no shame to call a man something like that!
