Avery blind question???
I have one, everyone that I hunt with has one. Six in all. I'm very happy with mine and would highly recommend them....
Avery blind question???
It is expensive but works as advertised. The only other boat blinds I've hunted out of were home-made so the Avery was a grand step forward in design, function, stowing, etc., but I don't have anything else to compare it to.
The two angled sides of the "top" are easily adjustable, which has proved to be very handy, but I still feel exposed down the middle most of the time. The windblockers make it very warm inside. If you use pedestal seats in your boat the height will be O.K. but if you sit on bench seats (like me) it'll be too high. I like a lower profile and during the summer I'll get a hacksaw and adjust.
On a scale of 1-10, I'd give it 8 1/2 Greenheads.

Avery blind question???
I have debated buying one of these and just wondered what you guys who have one or have hunted with them think? Do the ducks pay them much attention? Kind of pricey but just wondering if yall felt they are worth it?
If you will keep looking up and smiling while the ducks are circling, I think we will get our limit. Because the ducks are being fooled by those teeth...they look just like kernals of corn.

Booger....watch what you do when you chop that thing with a hack-saw...when you shorten the lengths of uprights, it throws the whole damn folding angles off. I thought that it would be easy and wound up drilling about 30 additional holes for the bolts and spending all afternoon on it, to get it useable again.

Avery blind question???
I just made one myself. It cost about $150 for everything 3/4" square tubing @ 80' and a bunch of camo material. plus nuts and bolts. I used 8 pieces of 4" angle iron (2 per base X 4 bases) for mounting it to the boat. If a person had a welder which i don't it would make it a lot better. I had to use bolts/jb weld to put mine together...but it works and i custom made it to fit my boat. Anyone that is anywhere near a handyman can put one together.

If you really like hunting out of boat, you need one of these on your rig. They are very nice and function well.
I don't always use my blind, but that's only because I hunt alone and can keep myself still. When you've got three people in the boat, something like this is essential if you plan on bringing in ducks.

That's affirmative Millenium Mallard.
As there were no ducks to distract me this season I had ample opportunity to study the blind structure, War Eagle welds, the dogs ears etc. It did look as though there would be a dozen ways to screw it up. I better be careful, thanks.

Avery blind question???
I HAVE HAD ONE 5-6 YEARS. IT IS EASY TO USE AND WORKS GREAT. DUCKS WILL LAND RIGHT BY YOU IF YOU SETUP PROPERLY. USE EXISTING BRUSH TO HIDE BY AND USE THE SHADOWS TO HIDE IN. WORKS BEST ON SUNNY DAYS. MY CAMO HAS ROTTED AND I AM GOING TO REPLACE THIS YEAR. THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THE CAMO THAT COMES WITH IT IS IF IT RAINS AND GETS WET WHILE IT IS ROLLED UP IT WILL FREEZE INTO ONE BIG LUMP. I PLAN TO USE SOME MOSSY OAK CAMO POLY TARPS WITH A SEWN ON "STRIPPED UP PIECES" LIKE A GHILLIE SUIT FOR NEXT YEAR. THE POLY TARP WONT FREEZE I FOUND OUT ALREADY USING IT AS A WINDSCREEN.
ALSO IT DOES NEED ADDITTIONAL CAMO FOR THE TOP AND BOW AND STERN.
