Get your ass off your shoulders, and re-read the above posts, fella!!! With a stroke of their pen, the Legis. can change the way pay raises are conferred.They just don't WANT to.
As it is now, the only way the state workers can be given raises is if the Legis. give themselves one, too.
They just love to use the following excuse-- "Well, now I really don't want this pay raise for myself, you understand, but I guess I'll have to vote myself one, just so the little state workers can get one, too!!!" That's BS.
Good gosh, fella, read between the lines!!!
And, this matter has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with whether I make $1,000 per day or a $1,000 per month!!! Totally irrelevant for you to even make that statement.
