Dog club & training day in north ms....

Southern Flight HRC is having a meeting this Tuesday at 630, Ryans in HornLake MS. We're having an open training day in Hernando this saturday from 9-2. Everything from puppies to finished dogs will be there, and all comers will be accomdated. We'd love to have some new faces show up, hollar if you have any questions. goosebrce1@aol.com. travis

On a training day we set up several wingers in the field. From these wingers will be thrown either a bumper or a dead duck. A handler can choose to get either a single, double or triple throw. This allows dogs at any level in their training to participate.
The handler can move closer to the winger prior to the throw if he felt his younger dog may not go the distance to make the retrieve.
We will also set up blind retrieves for those handlers whose dogs have progressed to that level. We also accomodate the folks with pups just getting them out and allowing them to retrieve a bird throw by another person.
If you have a retriever I can guarantee that our training day will give you the opportunity enjoy the day with your dog.Besides, what can beat the chance to spend time with your retriever and the fellowship with other great folks that share your same interest in retrievers and duck hunting.
