Anybody tried these from Cabelas?

The Real Image Mallard dekes?
Do they hold up?
Paint chip off like all the others?

Nope - but they are opening a store in North Fort Worth in two weeks and I'll be sure to give them the bang two together test in the store....

They look great but the heads won't stay on I have epoxy'd all of mine on. Other than that I like them. I keep them in a bag seperate from other deke's and am real careful with them you can scatch them up. But they will put the duck in your spread.

the paint looks stout and I bandged them together in the store, scuffed them on the floor..against the wall..you name it. Showed some slight scuffing on the wing. I say that they are tough but Torch is right about those heads, they look like they will not stay on.

nah - the dude working that dept. knew exactly what I was doing and even commented how he had done the same :lol:

Anyway - the store is really cool. If anyone is in Ft. Worth, make a point to go check it out. The wildlife displays and mounts blow BPS's away...

I will buy some when our Cabellas opens down in Buda, Texas. They look good.
