Who is finding some rocks?

How about some pictures of some North Alabama pottery? Never found a complete bowl/bottle but penty of pottery shards. Very interesting designs on the shards. Most pottery is considered Mississippian age (couple hundred to 1000 years old) You can see how they rolled a corncob over the surface for texture on some pieces. Some shards are stamped , others incised, some plain with paint.

Some shards still have the paint on them... red and cream colors seem to be the colors of choice... or maybe those are the only colors that survive?
