Guys I thought I would copy and paste some of our hunting logs from this past season into some threads and see if they are of interest to you. If they are entertaining and worth the effort let me know and I will continue to copy them your you. Some are much better than others but all are memories for our camp.


Dec 18th 2001 31 degrees with a NW wind.
Left camp 2:35am arrived at Delta Natl. 3:40am
Morning was bitter cold and had a long 1 ¼ mile walk to big willow Lake. Water was extremely high and walking was tough due to the under growth. Fair amount of birds working in on all sides but none committing.
Found we could not get to hunting spot due to the high water.
Fingers are cracked and bleeding already and season is just warming up. Lost Flashlight on the way in when limb tried to pull my eye out of it’s socket. Short cussing spree and continued on to a area as close to our usual spot as possible.
Downed four ducks two mallard heads and two woodies.
Was a very pretty morning. All said it was worth the trip. ( note: might want to exercise more before next season, This trip kicked my butt.)
