I will tell you, (I didn't shoot the thing), I was standing in the back of the dog blind waiting to take pictures. I will admit that I however made that error in judgement twice this past season.

Duckmen- nice photography. What are those brown ducks that look like immature hen mallards with fat lips? Are those those ones that taste like chicken?

You got it Captain, That is some of that pond shooting thses boys I hunt with do to finish a limit out when they don't get it in the mornings. I ain't into big-lip teal but if that turns their wheel more power to them.

You won't ever see me holding up a diver or a big-lip teal, Just not my cup of java if you know what I mean.

Did they bother to tell you when they had their big laugh over me killing a hen that I also killed the drake with the same shot.
WHOOOPS that part was left out wasn't it. hehe

Dan, that's a heck of stance ya take and you stand up for it consistently. I say more power to ya. I think it's great. I can try to do that all I want, but it's bout impossible in early november shootin' gray ducks. Anyways you owned up to it and I got a chance to pull yer chain, so all in all a good day for me. Then again I get to download the pics to post here again and look at that timber spot. Never made a jam up timber shoot and that sure looks like a good place to do it.

Hey Dan is that a mallard hen I see in Rusty's mouth? I just couldn't resist. Real nice pics, I like the specs, bet ya'll enjoyed eatin' those dudes, I got about 20 left in the freezer and already am hording them till next year. Also got some duck sasage in the makin' to see if I can get anywere close to what you served up at the get together. Real nice set up there w/ your dog in the pic, looks like a real pretty place to hunt. Thanks fer the pics.
