I knew all this was gonna happen like in january. And i don't remember ever calling or talking to anybody about it. i just did it.

Again man, not trying to diss you, but that aint nobody fault. I have NEVER not gotten into a hunt I wanted to go to, except one, and that was because 100 mph winds hit and my wifes business lost power for a week and my premium was on her desk at work. The schedual is printed months in advance. You can get hurt, or you can get in, but waiting and calling isnt a way to get into any (in this area) hrc hunt test. travis

I thinkk Dutch Dog has a point!! I was able to get into the test at Old Hatchie and I did send my premium in a few months in advance! The problem was that since this test does fill up really easy there was no way to know if you were in or not since nobody would return NUMERUS phone calls!! All they had to do is say ye or na!! People have to make reservations etc and if I make every effort to get in touch with you every day the least that could be done is return at least one of my 1000 calls!! I did eventually get some help but it took an act of Congress to get in touch with someone who actually cared if I spent my money at their event or not!!

I called Travis as soon as I thought she was going into heat. He said wait, maybe its a false alarm. A few days later, (a few days before the test) she was in full blown heat, so I called him back. His words to you were "don't you think telling me is about the same thing as telling you" I remember them plain as day. anyway, Why in the hell would someone want a person as busy as....

".... It seems the hunt secretary bit off quite a bit more than he could chew trying to be "in charge" of this test!! I was told they were sorry and it would not happen again and it would be handled more appropriately for the fall test!! ...." Will is a traveling fool for work, and is a night-time graduate student. needless to say, he's a bit busy'r than most, and being HTS really loaded down an already max'd out schedule

dude, your fussin bout someone not calling you BACK.... someone in a different club than you.... your IN the club I'm talking about, yet you never made the FIRST call, let alone leave me with a need to call you BACK.... and guess what, I slipped up and deposited your check, because travis's mentioning of your dog got lost in the 362,000 things he and I had to discuss for that hunt.

rather than kick will in the nutz, i think i'll just applaud his EFFORTS.... they may not be the most in the world, but at least he's trying. heck man, first time i was HTS, I didn't get shat correct, either. far as that goes, I didnt get shat correct at SF either.....

josh, wishing someone would take this OH SO HIGH PAYING JOB off mine and will's frickin hands, so we kick back and watch a black dog swim.... sure would beat the heck out of six saturday's worth of paperwork and 245 pizzin an moaning saturday morning check-in professionals

I might be steppin into a pile but You guys are suppose to be leaders of SF.. I personally do not think this is the time or place for a pissin match. Dutch, I feel your pain about Ol Hatchie. I had the same thing happen to me. It is what it is. It is not Josh's fault. I would imangine that the HTS of OH has about a thousand phone calls to make.

First of all-

I want to apologize for not returning calls. Do not hold that against OH. I got volunteered for this position and made the statment that I had little time but I would try my best. Apparently my best was not good enough. But to hold it against the club, that's tough. I appreciate Travis and Josh thoughts, but Dutch is right, it was crappy not returning calls. It is hard to return 30 calls a night when you get one call and end up talking 30 minutes to an hour to a Handler that has been in the business for 20 years. He/She is looking for someone to talk to. I do not mind doing that, that is part of the heritage of HRC. So I guess I could have been an "turd-cutter" up front or wait and be an assshole on the back end. I am doing the best I can, and yes Dutch I will not be doing the HTS thing ever again. I will however do anything and everything possible to have our organization grow. I am challenging every one else though.If you want to make HRC the worthwhile organization that it is, then we "ALL" need to pitch in and help our clubs even the HTS position. I am a ROOKIE, plain and simple. I am new to the game, but I tried to step up to the plate and help our cause. If you want to downplay me for that, that is fine, but do not hold against OH because I do not want to disgrace our club. I truly hope no one holds anything against you, OH, or HRC....that's just plain dumb...i ain't got a dog in the hunt, pun intended, but i'm gonna go out on a limb and say this wizzin match is undeserved...

from ALL ACCOUNTS, and i have no idea personally, but i'd imagine you have to most hated, hectik, and unappreciated job there can possibly be had when dealing w/ HT's...

ya'll having a test? ya'll all filled up? are all the judges accounted for?? if YES, can be answered to those questions - GOOD JOB....

if not all can be answered w/ a yes, you've got time yet

I'm not in a wizzin match..... I'm just stating the obvious. Nobody will come within 300 yards of this job. Those that do, usually leave with a bad taste b/c of the one-call-at-a-time brow-beatings that go on for weeks at a time. Even if will SHOT someone, heck I'd understand why.... I'd have popped a cap or two at SF given the chance....

Mad props to Will for the apology letter!!! I know your job was and is difficult!! Old Hatchie fills up really fast and is a great test and I am holding nothing against Old Hatchie or Will!! All I needed was an Email(yes Gator I did send an email also as well as call... kinda like what you wuz biatching about a couple weeks ago about the backorder... what if nobody would have ever called you back and you were in limbo about your order) saying I got in!!! I do want to thank Linda for the return call and Josh for giving me her # and I did get confirmation from Will yesterday by mail!!! Look forward to next weekend and thanks again to Linda, Josh, and Will as well!!!!
