DOGS vs. REBELS

I am a Bully fan but if one school in the state had the "baseball title" then it would have to go to DSU. Does not matter Div. 1 or Div. 2, you got to hit it, throw it, and catch it. Seems year in and year out, they get it done. I can remember MSU losing a ballgame or two to DSU when they played each other in the eighties. And MSU was a pretty solid baseball school then also. Would love to see a four team round robin tournament played in early March with all four schools. Will not ever happen though.
Are we gonna get wet?

STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Southern Miss scored six runs on eight hits to pick up a 6-1 victory over Mississippi State in the second of two midweek games, Wednesday, at Dudy Noble Field in Starkville, Miss.
So, we've beaten Ole Miss, State, and the Nation's #1 team this year.

Bout damn time y'all won a game, congrats........it was handed to ya. And you haven't beaten the #1 team in the nation, if you are talking about Too Lane Highway which isn't the #1 team in the nation, except for one, by the polls I've looked at, which there's about 14 of them.
I'm surprised that USM even showed up for a game after the 15-0 blowout last friday. BTW..........Texas is the #1 team in the nation, not Toolane.

That's true, but it doesn't help my cause any. So, I am going to use the poll that says we beat the #1 guys. It sounds better to beat the #1 team than the #3 team.
I understand that Ole Miss and State are a little better... but just a little.
