It was like teaching kangaroos to box, mildly entertaining but pointless....

Duck season is a whole lot like your first sexual experience. You spend hours thinking about it and planning it; lay awake at night thinking about it: everybody lies about how good they are at it; nobody will tell you where to find it; it seems as if it will never happen. Then when it does, it's over way too fast, but you know you sure liked it and want to do it again!

And, what does that say about our constant search for ever-more-powerful guns and longer shells?!

Dang Crow ya done gone and blown all the logic I have been preaching on these sites about how much better it is to use smaller guns and shells.

Bet if ya ask my misses she would tell that I apply that same logic with her.

Thats alright the aim is all the same. hehe

Hey Duckie,
Glad to see I intertain you boys so much.
What an honor it is to have you high profile hunters talk and joke about the ole Duckmen when he's not around.

I got me some thick skin so you boys just have a good old time poking fun. Won't be too long, I'll be the one poking fun. hehe

Well, Duckmen, I've always had to take the point of view, by necessity and by nature, that it is not the monstrosity of the weapon, but the dexterity of the shot placement that counts most!

This conversation may have gone as far as decorum and my comfort will allow!

HEy Duckmen just kidding with you. I have'nt met you yet but if you hang out with those guys that work with scott I'm sure it won't be long before I do. Just think how bad the joking would be if we all started to duck hunt together. HAHHAHAHA then the jokes would'nt stop. funny you should say that. as much as i hate to admit it, i went there sat. b/c my other holes didn't have ducks and they did (tons, as usual). we set up about 5:15, with about 50 blocks, and proceeded to wait 'til shootin' time. about 6:15 a boat came up about 60 yards from our decoys and threw out 5 dekes. not only did they set up waaaaayyyy too close, but they hunted out of a boat with a blind made out of this neon green
$#!+ IN BROWN BEANS. the first group of the morning was a group of about 14 mallards; got them working a little, they swung out wide to come in to the wind, dropping steadily. the birds came about 55 yards over the DUMBASS'S 5 DEKES and they SKY BLASTED 'EM. my partner (about 6' 4" 275 lbs) set out across the water cussin' and screamin' and they yelled back that it was public property. they were young kids, about 17, but they still should learn DUCK HUNTER'S ETHICS real quick. i think we got the message across. the only time i went all season, and the last time i'll go back EVER.

MAHANNAH SUX!!!!!!!!!
