A friend of mine killed one in Holmes county this year. It's being mounted at Wildlife Taxidermy in Sturgis, MS.

I was just wondering...how would you count that in a limit...as your one pintail or as one of your mallards? I know this might be a stretch...any of us contemplating a limit this year!

I've seen a mount of one before. It seemed to be more sprig than greenhead. Darkbill, sprig, the green on the head was not as iridescent. I ususally hear of one or two people a year killing them in the delta. A buddy of mine shot one lastyear. Rookie hunter so when I asked who mounted it I wasn't surprise when he said "I don't know enough about ducks so I really didn't care about it. I mounted it on my grill. It ate just fine."
