You were not alone.
I know what you mean… Last years total for our members was over a thousand birds while this year it was less than 500.
The season took its toll on us and I called it quits after Sundays hunt. All in all it was a grand year. I hunted places that I never thought of hunting before. Tried many different techniques and learned more about ducking than I thought I was capable of learning.
It was a season of hard knocks. It takes a season like this to bump us down a notch or two. It was nature’s way to remind us that she is still in control. My hands are chapped beyond belief and I just wanted to let you boys know I’m back and to let the debate begin.
I wanted to post these here pictures of the bands I got this year, This was one of those seasons, I look forward to telling you over the next few months some of our outing and just how screwed up a veteran duck hunter can be once things change that you can’t understand.

This next picture is one I took early in the AM sitting in our layout blind in the middle of a cotton field.

Is that not just the greatest thing. God in all his glory?
People that wake up to the morning rush hour never see sites like this.
This my friends is why I have devoted my life to this sport.
