Lost one. But I did have a god laugh this morning. I got to listen to some clown blowing a horrible sounding goat call, highballing it all morning.
I'm such a glutton for punishment, and will be going again tommorrow if you want to come. I can have you back at your vehicle by 7:45.

I had an interesting event occur today. I shot two Ringnecks. Here's how it went, a group of three landed in my decoys. I jumped them up make them flush, so I could shoot. I got two with my first shot. One of them fell dead, and one limped away with a broken wing. I sent my dog after the cripple, thinking she could run it down, but this bird got away. I called the dog back and directed her to the first bird that fell dead. I decided to take a look for the cripple with the boat, after the hunt.
About 40 minutes later, I looked out and noticed that I had a Ringneck decoy. 'sept this one was alive. It was obviously the cripple, his head was bobbing around. I tried to flush him first before I shot, just to make sure that it wasn't a new bird that had snuck in. My RADAR was a little fogged up this morning. I've never had a cripple swim back in to let me finish him off like that before.
