Outlaw decoys
Wanting input from anyone about using the outlaw decoys, especially for the speckbellie geese.I have a few of the full body floater decoys. They seem to come to my calling fairly well, but I hunt on the edge of a field ,when they come to my calling they are still to high to shoot, because of treeline .Thinking about hunting next year on the on another part of our lease, and using the outlaws instead of only floaters.Need input.

Outlaw decoys
The outlaw specks look awesome, my favorite deek. But careful, mixing them with duck decoys. NEVER ask a duck to fly over sillywets, it rarely works out. Usually we set them upwind, as far as ness for ducks circling us to not have to fly over them. Always nice to add a snow deek or 2 with the specks, really makes them show up better. Speck floaters might be better for having them close, I dunno, Id ask jeff hes got more expereince with that.
Sillys have one inherent problem, they shine at right lite condtions. On a sunny day, you gotta watch em 730-830 till sun gets high, some days they look like q beams.
Got some big ass 40 inch spec decoys we use in hi cut stubble to show up. They will absolutely flair the hell outta a duck!
Oh, and if outlaw tries to sell you some of those 'seconds' speck deeks they got, dont buy em. They been trying to get rid of a batch of green specks for 2 years now. travis

Outlaw decoys
carry lite shells, get away from the treeline
Outlaw decoys
thanks guys, was only intending on using them when the greenheads aren't flying, wished I had them this year.Yes I will have to get away from the treeline. The south end of our field will be just the ticket.Got some ideas on how to hunt it by building a laydown type sled that will keep me dry and I can move it very easily with my 4 wheeler. It will only be about 10 ft. long.Hope I can hunt about 3 guys off of it!Later
