Last duckhunt Ever !

I had my last Duckhunt today. It was about 7:18am Sunday Jan.27 The first mallards topped the trees and cupped there wings into the decoys. Three shots and two greenheads. Bell was off on a double. I Could not beleave all the bird that were fling. I had a group of about 30 come into my decoy spreed and sit down. Took two greenheads out of that group. It was 8:10am and I had my limit of mallards I was just getting ready to unload my gun when five woodies buzzed me and I got a drake out of the five. It was a great day the sun was starting to top the moutains and the river was running wide open Bell was happy and I had the best hunt of the year.
The reason it was the last hunt ever I am going to Federal court Monday to be sentenced for giving a false statement to a F.B.I agent.
I worked as a Deputy Sheriff for 5 yrs. I started out under sheriff Qurales and supported him in the 1998 election. Quarles was bet and Davenport came in I was a marked man. The new Sheriff and his Chief Deputy were out to get me and thay did. On July 12 1999 I was called to the SO and questioned by 2 FBI agents about a hunting buddy that thay had been investigating during the interview one of the FBI agents asked me if I knew where Brian was I stated that I did not. I was fired from the Sheriff'a department after the interview.
May 13 2001 I was arreted for giving fales statement to a federal agent and fore worning of a search warrent. On October 26 2001 I was found inicent of the foreworning charge and gulity of a false statement. The FBI Had know evidence other than Chief Det. McCoigs testimony that I had confesed to him While he was giving me a ride home after the interview on 7/12/99( why would I say anything to some one who wanted to nail me). The two agents did not even have the question in there FBI 302 form and could not remember which agent had ask the question. The Chief stated that he could remember the question verbatem.
Being that the convicton is a felony I will not be able to hunt with a firearm. [img]images/smiles/icon_confused.gif[/img]

Just to prove a point, I believe I'd pay for a lie detector test for myself (yeah, I know they are not admissable in court) and present it to the media for publication. Then, ask that the new sherrif do the same. That's putting the heat where it belongs. Might not ever get your license back, but I bet I'd make sure that lie detector bit came back next election! If you are innocent, get off your butt and do something, man!

have your attorney to request an expundgement of your felony at a latter date to allow you to hunt... it won't hurt.. guess you learned your lesson about gettin involved in an election.. good luck to you...
