Life partners?

Postby torch » Thu Jan 24, 2002 2:26 pm

Talked to a guide the other day about the weirdest people he had ever taken duck hunting and he topped them all. He had 2 guys from up north who were holding hands and hugging and just acting strange. My buddy asked them are you guys married? They both answered no and said but we are life partners. GROSS!!!!!! I don't know about ya'll but I can do without queers in the blind.

torch, I can relate. I guided 1996-1998, and they were some of the best and worse times I have had outdoors. I never took any limpwrists hunting (that I know of), but I did take a few fishing. I got alot of business from the Tunica casinos and they came in all assortments.

I know most of you have heard the Jeff Foxworthy joke about being too drunk to fish, I have seen that PLENTY of times. More than once I have taken guns away from guys that were hitting the bottle too heavy. Nothing scarier than a drunk with a shotgun.

The ones that always amazed me were the ones that had money, looked and acted mature, but the camo sometimes does funny things to a fella, they acted like little boys, and told me MY business.

To all of you that are considering guiding, be careful waht you ask for. It just may turn something you love into something you hate!!

Amen Captian T I used to love duck hunting with just my buddies but when you take people that makes it like work. When you just buddy hunt there is no pressure on you to produce ducks like it is when you take folks.

I bet you did not have to take a leak during the whole hunt!

Thangs you might hear on a duck hunt with goobersmoochers....

Do these waders make me look fat?

Lets put all the greenhead decoys on the left, and all the hen decoys on the right.

Oh, look at the lil duckies in a row. You call that a jerk string? We'd just call it a good time.

How can you expect me to shoot ducks when every time they come in, you yell "whack em"

Things you'd want to pay close attention to..

Refering to 'getting a shot off', 'get down & cover up', 'humping deeks', 'lets git on dem drakes' or 'bustin your balls for ducks'. These things could stop a hunt, or at the least cause uneasiness.

Take a queer hunting, you never know how they could rearrange your blind to make it more open, and airy. Really make the space work for you. travis

...I'm hurting, laughing so hard.

maybe we ought to require anyone going on a guided hunt to get "certified" before sharing a blind...with plenty of filtering questions. ya'll toss out the qualifiers.

I bet you did not pick up any shells you dropped in the blind! I would not care if it was a 3.5 gold plated shot. There is no place for celery eaters in a duck blind. Barf!

I wonder if he asked them "How ya'll want your salad tossed" I don't think i would metion breaking anything down either. i.e. like a 12 gauge. I bet they don't use ear plugs but they do use some sort of plugs. Just think about them staying in your lodge. Will Tide get that out of sheets.
