Unless Seymore is present, then it is "Damn, didn't you see the 20 or 30 behind that single that were going to land, Damn it Seymore"

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote. Benjamin Franklin.

Y'all actually SAY sumpin'? GEEZ'um!
We usually let'em land and wait 'til there's several heads lined-up. If you SAY something......it just scares'em away.....
I don't think I say anything.....never really thought about it.......guess I haven't hunted with too many folks that don't have sense enough to know when it's time to shoot
......or are otherwise naturally trigger-happy.
.
Seriously......My wife just listens for when I drop my calls ('jingle-jingle').......that gives her about 2-1/2 seconds to get on a bird and get the first shot off.........otherwise, she'd beat me every time.
What do you say when you call the shot?..........Hmmmm
......
.....
..........
........
.......well, usually......."Nice shot, Babe!"
I don't know.....maybe I oughta watch a hunting video so I can come-up with something 'catchy'.
How 'bout........."knock the cotton off his biscuit!!"..........or........"Ein Heldenlieben!!".......or to simplify matters......how 'bout......."DUH!!"
..........

As I am laying under the goose shell and burlap, I always get on the right side of the hunt master. When I see him start reaching for his gun with his right hand, I grab mine, throw the shell off of me and start shooting.
When the geese are coming in, I say "get ready" to everyone. Then I say, "wait until we call the shot", "keep your dog steady", "stay covered up".....then "kill everything".
On ducks, I usually don't say anything unless everyone his their thumb you know where and a bird is about to get out of the spread...provided that I already have my limit and didn't take advantage of their latency, I'll say - "is someone going to shoot that duck?"...then it's a scramble..

Naw A'nat, during teal season "OH" or "EW" is about all I can get out as I'm drawing down!
Ask ole cajun squealer.hehehehe. He's usually still trying to decide if it's a woody or a teal when I'm shooting.

At times there is not a satisfactory substitute for well-aimed lead going down range at high velocity.
