How many of you did not get to watch possibly the two best games of the tournament Saturday because damn WAPT intterupted the broadcast to update the weather. Sure weather is important but not for the whole afternoon. Just update the weather for a few minutes and run the crawl thing at the bottom of the screen. It burns me up to hear Tony Maestro repeat the same thing over and over, zooming in and out, with that liitle pointer, showing red and green blobs over Learned or Hermanville.
I muted the TV and listened to the radio broadcast while watching a section of the screen approximately 25% of the screen's size. We had that problem years ago for golf coverage. The same station would pre-empt the Saturday's round and show a cowboy movie advertised by a local carpet company. We skipped calling the station to complain. We called everyone advertising the movie and threatened to boycott their store if they continued to advertise on that station. It worked ! ! No more carpet movies.
