nail polish???
Hey there Gulfcoast saw your post on the estate shells and seen you tip on using nail polish to seal the primers. Havent ever heard of that one. Is there any special way to do it. I wouldnt mind trying it on some super steel that I have. I only carry them with me on bluebird days. THANKS FOR THE TIP!!!!!!! good hunting too ya!!!!!! mike [img]images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img]

NEVER carry nail polish to the huntin camp... nor do you ever want to wear panty hose for warmth to the camp... your best huntin buddy may want to be your best friend...haha.... even at best they will spread the news all over town......BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT......

Just paint a little swab around the edge of the primer to make it watertight. That is where most water gets in a shell is around the primer. The old timers were doing it long before "drylocks."
