Rafael Palmeiro

Saw where Raffy denied using steroids before Congress today. Too bad they wouldn't let him take a baseball bat to Canseco for dragging him into this mess. I don't think he took steroids, but the fact is we'll never know for sure. And there is no way he can defend himself. How do you prove you didn't do something years ago. :roll:

It's a crying shame some has-been pining for the limelight once again had to drag Palmeiro's name through the mud. :evil:

Canseco is "@#$%#" in the head for bringing all those players into that mess, that man is gonna end up gettin murdered, especially bringin rich ass players into it where it wouldnt be nothin to pay a mob off to kill him LOL

Right I guess he tested positive because Canseco put it in his blood stream

Hey, He tested positive AFTER he testified before Congress. Or at least the news broke AFTER he testified before Congress.

He became persona non grata after saying the steroids in his system must have come from a Vitamin B12 shot given to him by a teammate (can't remember who he said now).

Whether it was true or not, it made him look like a liar, a hypocrite and a rat.

A horrible end to a fine career. There was even talk of him possibly getting into the baseball hall of fame before this mess. Not anymore.

You gotta admit, he had one of the sweetest swings in baseball.

Tell yall what...if you haven't read the Canseco book "Juiced"...you sould, you might have a different opinion of him and the Palmero incident is only a check in Canseco's case that the media and major league baseball make him out to be a loon b/c he knows the truth and that's the only way they can continue to hide from it, to make him look uncredible...

really should read the book if you have any interest in all this....VERY good book, and personally since reading it I tend to air on Canseco's side of things. He ain't crazy, he knows the truth and is mad b/c of how he's been treated and he is doing all he can to refuse to be major league baseballs scapegoat.

I heard that Rafael Palmeiro is a homosexual. Supposedly started the Gay Student Union at State. Good ole raffy....

That is a good book. Provides some great insight on the whole ordeal.
