Ideas on the great season?

Just wondering what ya'll think is the # 1 factor for the crappy season?
Weather?
Yankees Politicians?
Bird Population?
Refuge Systems?
Lack of food?
To much water?
We did not hold our mouth right?
Birds were scared to fly after 9/11?

One word: WEATHER.

Without snow in the upper part of the flyway, the birds have no reason to fly south! I'm sure there are some other factors, but the weather by far is the main reason we have not seen ducks this year.

Personally, I believe that somehow ALL of this could be blamed on the FRENCH!

Yup, those froggy ba$tards are somehow to blame! I think we should start the next war on Terrorism by bombing France. That's my opinion, and I am sticking to it!

Weather, refuges, and the fact that a lot of 5 year old ducks in Illinois and Iowa don't know their way to Mississippi because they've never been. Never been because for 5 years they've had food and open water and no hunting pressure while sitting in their refuges.
