Any luck at Noxubee???

Postby Lazy Drake » Tue Jan 22, 2002 3:59 pm

I got drawn to go this weekend at noxubee, wondering if anyone knows how they are doing. Hunted twice down there last year, had one good hunt and one not. Sure is some pretty timber. Any info appreciated

I hunt a place that is not very far from noxubee about 2 to 4 miles as the crow flys and we have had very few birds like everyone else but, that is a very pretty place with some good timber.I also hunt some of the public land in this area and we had had nothing but some local birds and has not really been worth going, but thats not to say that you will have a bad hunt at Noxubee.IF you go I hope you have a great hunt!I know I would if I had been drawn.I know thats not much help but I read your post and thought I would add my two cents.Good Luck

A couple of my friends went last Wednesday, killed 9, said that the hole next to them hammered them all morning. The biologists said that the greentrees were holding app. 10,000 ducks.
