2 Wood Ducks 7 Cotton Mouths

Hunted the Cold Water bottoms today and as I was coming out I saw (and killed) 7 cotton mouths all within 20 yards of another. funny thing it was pretty chilly this morning and they were acting as if it were mating season, anybody else seen anything like this?

ONLY AFTER 7 SCOTCH AND WATERS.....haha... hard to believe this time of year, but, i dug out a beaver hut the other day an found a nice moccason shallow and decided to quit diggin...... also found a string of DET CORD that didn't blow last summer.. i know there is KEN-A-PAK on the other end.... suppose to be harmless... between explosives and a snake, i called it a day...haha....

The only other thing I can think of is with the water so high right now, it just ran the snakes out of there dens, but man I thought that water was cold this morning and I am very thankfull I didnt bring Duke my Lab.

We have killed 7 snakes this season down at coldwater. 1 copperhead and the rest cotton mouths. One cotton mouth was pissed, his mouth was wide open and ready to strike at me but i didnt give him a chance, blew him in half.
