Possible Migration Indicator

Robins and Blackbirds. Thousands of Red-Breasted Robins and thousands of Blackbirds.
These are both migratory birds, and it seems like when I see these birds appearing in full force, the ducks aren't too far behind. Although, usually the mass of Blackbirds appear in November!! Do any of ya'll ever notice little things like this; other than the normal stuff (cold, snow, etc.), things that you associate with good duck hunting times?

YEA,
But usually it is cold weather and snow up north and workable ducks in the sky.
