00duck the answer to your question is HELL naw. You want to hear griping and complaining just come listen to my wife about me being gone all hunting season. And I dont think I even hunt enough. Whats wrong with hunt 4,5 sometimes 6 and 7 days a week. I just dont understand women.
Wingman your lucky, real lucky, just remember when you find a woman that I heard of a study one time that unmarried men live longer than married ones do.

well fellas I'm going to have to get in on this one. I've been married 11 yrs theis Dec. and it has had some ups and downs and in the end ,,,,,,,,,, so far i havent had too give up anything yet as far as hunting or fishing goes but there has been some heated issues over it. The last time it was brought up I finally said I was hunting and fishing before I met ya and I'll be doing it after your gone. Icouldnt believe I said that but after awhile the same ole argument gets old. That was the last time I heard anything about the issue. been a couple of years back too. I do have a good wife though but she told me that this hunting and fishing 8 days a week had too stop. I have cut down this year because of my back injury but I still took my son though......... just one thing wingman if you do decide not to become a monk make sure she enjoyes the same thing you do......... hehehehehe

Wingman, Keep this in mind. I saw an article the other day that said a study had proven that the #1 cure for nymphomania is wedding cake.

i am just now getting up off the floor true so very true !!! iwill say i have a great wife and partner in life but sometimes oh sometimes you can't win on any issue or make sense out of it at all like her stopping at walmart super center we have one about 3-4 miles from the house here in memphis but let us go to pickwick to the lake lizzard lodge or to arkie at the cabin and you would think she would die off if she could not stop and shop we have chicken in the freezer that could qualify for a free ticket on gray hound they have so many road miles on them but there are just some things men have to do to be able to walk across that log of life without falling into the creek

I've been happily married for 10 years, and 10 years out of 28, total, ain't too bad! I wouldn't take anything for the wife I have, but if something did happen and I found myself single, I believe I'd practice catch and release from there on in! Once is aplenty!

I've found it's hard to get a woman when I always smell like mud, swampgas, and sometimes duckguts.

Hehe, I have coated down my truck with Fabreeze to try and "de-Lab" it for a date this weekend. Bad thing is, I can't smell, so I have to go to friends and get them to do the smell check. It's tough to get that yellow Lab hair out of the carpet. Is it really worth it? Naw, I think if you find the right gal, she'll understand we are all idiots who had rather stand in the sleet with a shotgun than stay in the warm bed with her at 5:00 in the morning.

Do what I did...marry one who loves to duck hunt. You have to buy two sets of everything, but it sure beats the griping about being gone all the time. Our biggest issues are finding babysitters who like to spend weeks at duck camp and occasionally allowing me to have a weekend with the guys!
