Seen any new birds in the area? Didn't hunt this past weekend but did hear a good bit of shootin' on the water around black cat bottom.

Brother let me tell you. Saturday evening I don't know who it was but it sounded like around five people and they shot till 5:30 pm and i mean they shot. I tried to get back to see who was doing all the shooting but i couldn't get back to where they were. I guess they are about like me kinda ticked that it ahsn't worked out this year like we want it too. But hey it is just hunting and we have to take the good with the bad. But i did get into some birds on the 10th south of 78 and they flew seemed like all day. but if you ever called to them it was over. I got my limit that day. 4 greenies 1 gad $ 1 woodie.

Talked to a guy yesterday who said they wore them out up at Beck Lake on Tuesday and Wednesday morning. Got a couple of ducks up off our hole right at dark yesterday evening and saw a few more birds flying to roost. Looked like some teal, gads, and a few dozen mallards. Saw one big group go up the waterway. Looked like 50 or 60 birds headed towards the flatpond, definitely big ducks.
