could it be true?

Postby msdrake » Wed Jan 16, 2002 3:03 pm

I just spoke with one of the guys in my lease and he said the feild was covered in mallards and pintails. He and one other killed 4 mallards and 2 pintails. Due to earlier difficulty with pits floating it is very hard to get close to where they were landing. They laid on a bank between two fields and said the birds were almost out of range or they could have got the full limit. As bad as that sounds it is the best hunt of the year on our property that is usually coverred up all year. This is near Webb,ms. Was wonderring if this was a fluke or if others in that area were seeing more birds.

Ten miles south of Tunica saw only 1 flight of pintails and did not fire a shot.
