If they are trained by using the book Water Dog, try looking at Gator's house. I hear he is always on the look out for good Water Dog trained Labs.

Seriously, If they are males, look for a female possibly in heat. IF not, they typically know where home is, so chances are they will be back.

This year after a hunt I stoppped off at My Folks house and let my dog out to water the bushes and came back out and she was gone. I had to sling 2 bags of dekes on my tuck. Looked and Looked for 1 1/2 hours and finally gave up and went home. When I got home she came out from under the tool box behind my dog box when I pulled the dekes off the truck.

Glad to hear it. I know the feeling. My lab ended up missing this dec. when someone let him out of his pen. He was gone for 3 days and ended up 5 miles from home having taken up with a very attractive 40 year old woman. We still visit. 8)
