Cotten ol buddy, where's yer favorite WMA and honey hole? How about posting the GPS coordinates fer us all to take a look see.
Po Monkey, I sense aggravation in your request and sincerely apologize. The first post on this thread brought attention to this location, not I. Now several, including myself, have requested "The Scatters" location and only Don Miller was kind enough to give the correct answer. With the info already on this thread a monkey (no pun intended) could have done very little research and found out where the Malmaison WMA is located.

I'm curious about this court decision and the location only because I know Delbert, am currently indirectly involved in a deal with him, and have traded properties with Delbert in the past. Lighten up folks, life's to short!

Are you the same Cotten that owns the welding shop on HWY 32? :?

Cotten, most of the folks on this board share a mutual respect for each other (despite some of the banter) and show restraint in publicly posting specific information about local WMAs and other public hunting areas, locations, holes, etc. Sure, there is public information out there for those willing to dig a little and find it. But, most of us try not to make it any easier for the lazy trollers who are looking to benefit from someone else's hard work, scouting, and experience. When I research an area and find information about it, I might privately discuss it with my hunting buddies, friends who might know the area better than I, etc., but I don't post the information on this board out of respect for the hunters who already hunt that area and may have spent countless hours figuring out how to hunt that area.

Yes, life is too short. And quality hunting time afield even shorter. Most of the time, I am as light-hearted as it gets ---see most of my other BS posts. My post was just a little friendly nudge in the right direction(IMO). How you decide to use your posting privileges is up to you, not me. I'll say no more about it.

Thanks for your tactful post Po Monkey. No more locations from me regardless of how much info is already disclosed. Thanks again.

Delbert is a duck hunter and you are absolutely crazy if you think he would lease the scatters after all he went through to get it.

Is he entertaining offers to lease out all of Buck Ridge or just the 140+ acres that he secured in the Scatters as a result of exercising his option K. And I am glad to know that you are crazy as hell. Obviously we all are, because if we weren't, we would not sit out in the cold and rain to watch ducks work. :D

As of 8:00 am this morning the fella some of us/yous know as cajunman along with his brother and father were in a meeting with Hoseman talking about that very subject:

Now we've all heard of the infamous "el camino crew" but ifin these crazy coonarses get hold of just TWO acres of that land then watch out they are know to strap a fifty on the top of a chevy and mow down every truck and trailer they see near "their place" Let alone if they get it all.
God speed to the brave that venture into that place again.

That is a scary thought. Coon Asses in the Scatters. Do you think they will be wearing their beloved white boots and have an oyster knife in their back pocket?? It could get ugly.

Scrimp boots may be the only thing that will save you in the scatters now since it will show them that you have a common bond with them. I'd still be shaken in them shrimp boots

Had a salesman in Lafayette, LA that called those shrimp boots Delcombe Reeboks! Think about it everytime I see a pair.
