Resevior Hunting

Postby Perfect Shot » Sun Jan 13, 2002 9:57 pm

I just moved to Jackson and was wondering how the hunting was at the resevior. Is there any other good places to hunt in Jackson?

Thanks

There has been good hunting on the res in the past. There will be none this year. It could freeze solid up North and there would still not be enough time for the birds to filter in like they normally do. A bad year all around. You can bank on 2 woodies though.

Perfect Shot - It depends where the private land is. Really close to Jax there isn't a whole lot. It stinks everywhere this year but around Sataria , Yazoo City, The Delta in General it has been good in the past.

Thanks for the information. How is the hunting on private land around Jackson?
