Carried my daughter deer hunting during christmas holidays. She killed 2 deer and now she will refuse to do anything with her buddys if she thinks she will get to go hunting. [/img]

Grnhdhunter, You are right that we should all experience bringing a novice so next year I volunteer to take your girlfriend hunting! :shock: :lol: :lol:

I took one who hunts but never hunted ducks before. He borrowed a gun from me and killed 2 mallards and a woodie his first trip. Next thing you know he's got decoys, a new shotgun and all kinds of stuff. Now if he'll just go and find a place to hunt and remember the one who got him started. 8)

I returned to Duck Hunting after about a 8 year layoff . . . and boy am I rusty. So I will consider myself a newbie. I need to get out there and start over from square one!! My shootin' is horrible.
