He is more like a cross between the King James, Shakespeare, and Tom Clancey to me.

Very nice! I'm real new to duck hunting but I have to say I really like the watching as much as I do the shooting.

The final Saturday had to be the most exciting day I've been. this is my first year to duck hunt and we have had days where we killed more ducks. However, Saturday we had hundreds upon hundreds of birds circling but only a few would come on down. It was just really great listening to them quackers and wings fluttering by.

Very nice post! Have to say I'd love to experience that myself!!!

The best thing about hunting is just being in the wild outdoors, we take a lot things for granted that god has put here for us to enjoy and should be very thankful for the opportunity to enjoy it. Can't wait until next year to apply all the things I've learned from this year. Great post and i enjoyed getting to meet you.

Hey Newbie, One day maybe you can become the hunter this guy is. He is the real deal to those of us that know him and call him a friend! Stir your pot of illwill elsewhere!

Whatever Mudsucker! You have probably never laid eyes on him either. You just jumped on the same boat everybody else got on.
How in the hell do you know that I'm not the hunter that he is or how do you even know what kind of hunter that he is. I'm not saying that he isn't the best hunter on this site, All I'm saying is that you love and believe what he says and have no idea if it is the truth or not. Hell, I could come on here and pull the wool over ya'lls eye with some big as hunting log and saying that I take off all of January and let ducks lite and then let them fly off. Yea, whatever. As bad a year as it has been there is not a damn guy on here that will let a greenheaded duck lite in your dekes and not fire a shot at him. And if you say that you do you are a lier!

MSDuckmen, Mudsucker, duckbum, chuckle12, webfoot, ripem, don miller, bigwater, a handful of others, and my self all went on a teal hunt at doubler2's this year. Good food, fun, and fellowship.

All that know tha man call him freind becuse that is the standup kind of guy he is.

So take your pot stiring booty elsewhere.

Holy cow, you hunted with a man one time and now he is the duckgod!
I never said that he can't kill every duck in mississippi, all I'm saying is that ya'll praise the man like he is the pope.
If he was on here "stiring the pot" your dumbass would be holding the other end of the handle helping stir. It is just funny to me how a man can have such and influence on everyone on this site because of what he writes..... You are mad as hell at me right now and for all you know I could be msduckmen in disquise. See how well you believe what you read!

whatchu tqlking bout greenheadmachine? i hunt with msduckmen regular and visit throughout the off season...he's no edgar allen poe (not that i've ever read that old fart's crap)...the reason some of us folks like msduckmen's perpsective is because he's genuine; he's one of us, he's been there done that and his writing comes across like he's sitting on the tailgate telling a story and drinking a cold beer. and what in the helll's wrong with that?

This being the last log for 2004-2005 season our group ended up with over 300 birds for the season and to my knowledge 14 deer

So, Is this all of the delta or you. 300 ducks divided by 60 days is 5 per day. That is a some damn good duck hunting on public land..... with 2 guys and most days.
