and not quantity......not many ducks in the freezer, but still enjoyed the season...be back at them next year! GOD willing :D

Same here. I didn't always kill a limit but almost always came out with 2 or 3. Killed more mallards this year than in the last 3 years combined. Lots of shovelers, a few widgeons and teal. Still no pintails or bands :( . But i will be at them again next year. -Tom

Quality time makes quality people and, as importantly, quality people make quality times. Some of my very best hunts this year had very little do with actually killing ducks:

those are some awsome pics, i get the privledge to hunt with some youngsters, and some of the amaze me with how much they love it!

my buddies son is 11, and we got through with a mourning hunt and he asked his son what he wanted to do with the rest of the day, his son said "dad i don't care as long as we are sittin in the water some where!"

Great pics double R, how old is yer partner. My six year old is goin with me on the youth hunt. He's been beggin' since the season started but most of the places I go are pretty tough to get into.

The little boy in the third pic is 5 yo, the other is my 7 year old. Children spell love T-I-M-E....you boys that don't have children yet need to borrow or rent a couple!

Couldn't agree more. The past several seasons could make you think about giving up duck hunting, but just working a few birds and having my dog work well keeps me coming back. Ended on a better note, but still another season without a single limit.
