The pay hunts are out there, but usually word of mouth with no advertising. Hard to find.
I used to hunt with a host that initially had the same crew and it was $50, pay whenever or day of show. Fast forward and the host figured out it could be a money maker, and now it's $150 just to hunt and $200 if you want steak and fixin's. And he only takes the first money payers which he asks for on July 1st. Not the same crew of people, so it's always a bunch of people that have never met one another. The guy is such a pain I haven't hunted there in 10+ years. This year they killed about 130 birds in two days, but I don't know how many sports hunted.
He's had some great hunts before of 300+ birds.
