Fix/repair dried snake skin?

Fix/repair dried snake skin?

Friend has a good size rattlesnake skin pinned to a board. Half of it was not pinned well and dried uneven and curly. Is there anyway to make it pliable again so that it can be straightened out and felines to board?

No clue. Waiting to see.

May try a 50:50 acetone/water?

I left a 7 footer in my grandparents house when they sold it. Wish I had it back now
If I don't do it, I ain't gettin nun.......So i'm doing it
