Found a few nice points in February. Hopefully with all the rain and flooding I will be able to find some more soon. So much rain it is almost to muddy to walk the fields. Here is a video of February finds:

Nice, you have an educated eye probably from years of searching....

The chert they are made of usually patentates white so it makes it easier to spot them in the Alabama red clay. They get hard to spot in the creeks and rivers sometimes because of all the other rocks laying around.

I enjoy seeing what you, and others find. I follow a group on FB about artifacts as well. But I have a question for you. Why does it seem that everyone films their searches? To validate the authenticity of the finds?
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

I film to document the artifacts as well as just to put on youtube for everyone. I like to watch other peoples hunts and see where and how they search. Some places are so different than the southeast rivers and creeks. The desert have such different terrane and the artifacts are also very different.teul2 wrote:I enjoy seeing what you, and others find. I follow a group on FB about artifacts as well.
