Outdoor TV - patio
Outdoor TV - patio
Will a TV stand up ok to being outside under a roof like on a patio? Am wondering how our damp air effects their life span?
Which would you buy for a covered patio, a low end or high end TV? Any TV recommendations? Samsung vs TCL?
What about a TV cover?
Thanks!

Buy as nice of a cheap TV as you can afford to replace in 2-3 years and call it a day. I had a 42" $200 Hisense last me 2.5 years. Wouldn't turn on and went and bought a $250 52" Toshiba before the A&M Game.

SunBrite=$$$$$$$
I wonder if their pricing has decreased in recent years like most other technology has or do they have the market cornered and charge what they wants?

Scot I looked into this a while back ago. I’d suggest following the previous suggestions about buying a good cheap tv. I read somewhere that the expensive ones would last much longer.

We went with a Sharp brand. It was a Black Friday deal at Walmart the wife found. We were wanting a big TV for the patio, and this one is 65”. My fingers are crossed the picture will be OK. Hope to be in the new house within the month. Will need to have MS Duck house warming party, so y’all can evaluate the TV.

Sounds like a plan. Hell, we could probably fit everyone that still posts here on the back porch.
